Duration of Contract: Estimated 15-18 months
Site is around the PMB, KZN area for construction of Freeway lighting which also
entails the required Civil & Structural Works.
Monthly Pay: 55K-65K all costs inclusive (R1500 for Cellular and data allowance
inclusive in monthly pay)
For the following services but not limited to:
? Client liaison link between the Company and the Client/ End User (SANRAL)/Consultant
? Undertaking design work including reviewing the designs, bills and contract documentation
? Attending meetings with Client on behalf of the Company as required
? Attending meetings with End User (SANRAL)/Consultant on behalf of the Company as required
? Regular inspections of site in terms of Contractual Compliance (Site Camp, Plant, H&S Audits, project scope)
? Monitoring scope of works being carried out on site in terms of project scope requirements.
? Updating of project programme on a regular basis as per Company and the Client/End User (SANRAL)/ Consultant requirements
? Managing project programme timelines
? Project Co-ordination
? Preparing of cashflows and updating of cashflow on a regular basis
? Preparing of progress reports and updating of progress reports
? Presenting of progress reports and cashflows to Client/ End User
(SANRAL)/Consultant on a regular basis
? Compiling and preparing of payment certificates which includes determining quantities of work done as per the BOQ’s for invoicing to the Client/ End User (SANRAL)/Consultant in liaison with Contracts Manager
? Understanding of the NEC, GCC, FIDIC and other Contracts
? Attending of site meetings, design/technical meetings and any other meetings as required
? Engaging with the Contracts Manager and Site Supervisor on a regular basis to ensure smooth running of the project.
? Undertaking & managing of Contractual Matters, Claims and Contractual administration
? Undertaking & chairing internal construction progress meetings with the team on a regular basis to ensure project timelines are met, addressing risk matters and any
project catchup plans if project is behind schedule
Minimum Requirements Criteria of Resource Qualifications, Professional Registration and Experience
? Min. B-Tech – Electrical Engineering
? Min. ECSA Pr. Tech. Eng
? Min. 8 years relevant experience in Freeway & Street Lighting Projects
