Our Client is looking for HVAC Design Engineer for the Substation Resource Pool – Various Projects.

Responsibilities

Civil engineering designs and compile design reports as stipulated by the task schedule or engineering work request submitted by the departmental clients. This will include the following but not limited to the list below;

•Compilation of scope of work,

•Compilation of Bill of Quantity,

•Compilation of evaluation strategy(s),

•Compilation of tender strategy,

•Compilation of Design drawings and reports, and

•Evaluation Reports.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

(Over and above what is provided for in the contract)

The resource will also be required to do site visits on requests depending on the stage/phase of the project or as

instructed by the departmental manager.

Qualifications

Line design engineers (Electrical)

Qualifications (minimum): (B. Sc Eng/B. Eng/B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

Professional Registration: Professional registration with ECSA as a professional engineer or professional engineering technologist

Experience and Skills Set:

Extensive experience in the design of major DC transmission lines – 15 - 20 years’ experience

Knowledge of substation design standards and practices.

Technical report writing skills

Presentation skills

Ability to work in a team
