RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compilation of reports (basic assessments, scoping reports, environmental impact assessments, audit reports, etc).
- Assistance with day-to-day administration of projects, including public participation associated with projects.
- Planning and completing environmental audits.
- Undertaking on-site environmental monitoring, training and guidance to contractors.
- Review of contractors’ Quality Control Plans and Construction Method Statements.
- Compiling proposals and project reports.
- General office and project related admin if required.
Requirements
- A degree (BSc or BTech) in Environmental Science or Environmental Management.
- Suitability for Registration with EAPASA as a Candidate Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP). Registration with EAPASA as a Candidate EAP will be advantageous.
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Efficient in the use of Microsoft Office Project (advantageous).
- At least 2-5 years’ post qualification experience in the environmental impact assessment and monitoring field.
- Must be an effective communicator (personal, phone, writing, email; etc).
- Own Vehicle
- Valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to travel (where required)
